This notice explains how the Temple of Light website handles information when you visit it. The operators of the Temple of Light project are responsible for processing that is under the project's control. You can contact us through the official community channels linked in the footer.
Information handled when you visit
The website does not currently provide user accounts, contact forms, mailing-list registration, online payments, advertising or analytics. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, sell personal data or use it for profiling or automated decision-making.
Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure may process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the site. This may include your IP address, the date and time of a request, the requested address, referrer, browser and device information, and technical error data. This information is used to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose faults. Where applicable, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website. Technical logs should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law.
The Sayings page uses browser session storage to remember the randomly selected saying within the current browsing session. That value remains in your browser, is not sent to us, and is normally removed when the session ends.
Third-party services and links
The site loads the Tektur and Exo 2 typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these files, it connects to `fonts.googleapis.com` and `fonts.gstatic.com`, and Google receives the technical information required to answer the request, such as the IP address and browser information. Google states that no cookies are sent by visitors to the Google Fonts API. Google handles that information under its Privacy Policy.
Links to Discord, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and other external websites do not transfer you to those services until you activate the link. Once you leave this website, the external provider's own privacy terms apply.
Your rights
Depending on where you live and the processing involved, you may have rights to receive information about your personal data and to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, as well as to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Because this site does not currently collect information through accounts or forms, we may hold little or no information that can be directly associated with you. If you make a request, we may need enough information to verify your identity and locate any relevant records.

We may update this notice when the website, its hosting or the services it uses change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
